Alignment and calibration, in the same bay
The four post lift and the camera station share one bay, so an alignment and the camera calibration that should follow it get done together on the same level floor. Plenty of newer cars need both after new tires, suspension parts or a windshield, and here that is one visit instead of two.

Book first, explain once
The booking page asks for the things we would ask at the window anyway. What the car is, what it is doing, when it started, and whether it happens cold, hot, at speed or over bumps. Attach a photo of the warning light or a short clip of the noise and the tech starts with a head start instead of a guess.
When the car comes in, we diagnose before we repair. You get a call with what we found, what it costs and what can wait. Nothing gets replaced without your go ahead.

Questions people ask
Can I book an appointment outside business hours?
Yes. The booking page at fluxfront.ca/book/scorpion-auto-tech is open 24 hours a day, every day. Pick a service and a time, add your car and describe the problem. The shop itself is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to noon.
Where is Scorpion Auto Tech?
Unit 112 at 2595 Blackwell Street, Ottawa, ON K1B 4E4. Blackwell runs off Sheffield Road, about a kilometre south of Highway 417 Exit 112 at Innes Road. The customer entrance is the glass door marked 112, to the left of the bay door under the red Scorpion Auto Tech sign.
How much is a diagnostic at Scorpion Auto Tech?
A drivability or electrical diagnostic starts at $150 and includes the scan. General inspection time is $120 an hour. We call you with the cause and the repair price before doing any repair work.
Do you do Ontario safety inspections?
Yes. The Safety Standards Certificate inspection is $200, booked online like any other service. If the vehicle needs work to pass, you get a list and a price, and you decide whether we do it.
What should I bring when I drop off my car?
The keys, any wheel lock key, and if it is a tire swap, the other set of tires. If the problem is intermittent, a short video or photos of the dash help. You can attach up to four photos when you book.
