Why the east end
Blackwell Street is a dead end run of industrial units off Sheffield Road, a kilometre south of Highway 417 at the Innes Road exit and two kilometres from the Split, where the 174 heads to Orléans. That puts most of the east end of Ottawa, Ontario within a fifteen minute drive outside rush hour. People drop a car on the way to work downtown, or on the way back to Orléans, and pick it up the same way.
