Questions people ask
What are your hours?
The shop is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to noon. It is closed Sundays. The last weekday drop off is 4pm. Online booking is open around the clock.
How much does a diagnostic cost?
A drivability or electrical diagnostic starts at $150, and that includes scanning the car's computers. Inspection time for noises, leaks and vibrations is $120 an hour. Both are before tax.
Do I have to approve repairs before you do them?
Yes. After the diagnosis we call with the cause, the price and anything that can safely wait. Work starts only once you approve it.
How much is a wheel alignment?
Wheel alignment starts at $125 before tax. It is done on a four post alignment lift with a camera system, and you get the before and after measurements.
Do you calibrate lane keeping cameras after a windshield replacement?
Yes. ADAS calibration starts at $200. The shop has a calibration station with target boards set up in front of the alignment lift, so cameras and radar can be re aimed after glass, alignment or front end work.
How much is an Ontario safety certificate?
The Safety Standards Certificate inspection is $200 before tax. If the vehicle needs repairs to pass, you get a list and a price and decide what to do.
How much is a tire swap?
Swapping tires that are already on their own rims is $60. Mounting and balancing tires onto rims starts at $120. Bring your wheel lock key if the car has locking nuts.
Do you work on all makes?
The shop works on cars, SUVs and light trucks, domestic and import.
Can I wait for my car?
Yes, for shorter jobs. There is a waiting room with seating and a TV inside the customer entrance. For diagnosis and longer repairs, most people drop the car and wait for our call.
Do you work on fleet and dealer vehicles?
Yes. The booking page has a dealer option, and the shop does safeties, alignments, calibrations and reconditioning work for dealers and small fleets.
